Summer Essentials: Mascara + Neutral Eyeshadow Quad + Foundation + Lipstick

This is a more generic type of set, right? It’s easy to get your hands on this…and I”m not specifying any brands because I believe almost any brand (affordable or luxurious) have these makeup. Let’s make TWO looks (day and night) easily with only four easy-to-get-makeup-or-it-might-be-already-on-your-hands-right-now and no professional skills needed. Aja! I actually didn’t use a foundation but a face powder because in summer, you want to have as less makeup as possible. Always remember to take care of the skin so you don’t need to conceal anything…this summer is not only a break from stress and work but also it’s a break for your skin to be free. The girl that would benefit from these looks is one that want light application and one that doesn’t want to go to extremes. day-1   This is the day look. As you can see, it’s simple…almost non-existent but a little blush, little color on the lips and a little emphasis on the eyes…may be little but goes a long long way. A little bit-even better you…as I’ve said a few times. Here are the steps: Day   1. Pat on the base color (from your quad) on your lid. This will help lessen the appearance of veins and even correct the darkness of your lids (I actually have that problem). 2. Using the darkest color on your quad, line your eyes and extend a flick on the edge for a soft cat eye effect. 3. Use your angled eyeliner brush and get some mascara on it…use this as a gel eyeliner and line your upper lashline and a third of your bottom lashline. 4. If you have excess mascara on your brush, apply it on your lashes for a much natural look. 5. Get your lipstick and rub it on the back of your hand to warm up the product. Using your free hand, apply the color on your cheeks then on your 6. lips. 😀 night-1   This is the night look! 😀 Night 1. Use a darker base on your lid from your quad. 2. Get the darkest color on your quad and apply on the crease and extend until inner corner of the eye. 3. Apply the same color on the lower lashline to balance the look. 4. Apply mascara on your lashes. 5. Blend the color with your finger. 6. Apply the lipstick directly on your lips for a much more vibrant application.   If you want to know the actual brands I used, here they are: 1. Foundation: Garnier Light Face Powder in 04 Beige 2. Eyeshadow Quad: Avon True Colors Eyeshadow Quad in Sandy Corals 3. Mascara: Clinique (Will update the specific detail later) 4. Lipstick: Lancome (Will update the color later. :D)   That’s all and wait for the next blog-o-sode (blog episode-trying to make up words here) for the Summer Essentials series. Take care! ~Chai
